Cutting Edge Mercedes Dealer in Gilbert, AZ embraces cloud

www.mbgilbert.com facility photo

This past month has been exciting for the community in Gilbert, AZ after the long awaited opening of Mercedes Benz of Gilbert when they unveiled their amazing facility. Throughout the period of time that the dealership has been constructed we have been visiting, involved and overjoyed by what the owners Charlie and Audrey Alfano have accomplished. To our delight we have been witness on their use of Cloud Technology like Office365.

When you arrive at the dealership you'll be greeted by an amazing reception, branded water bottles and Free WiFi.  Their sales professionals have an open demeanor and are listeners unlike some of the experiences we've had in visiting similar facilities in the area. The lot is FULL of pre-owned cars and the NEW cars they have on display include AMG super-cars as well as an experience center that reminds me of the XBox displays at Microsoft Stores.  With this experience center you can listen to the engine roar from an SLR or any other vehicle in the Mercedes line up.  You feel like you're actually in the vehicle and you get to learn a lot from the massive speaker setup, huge display and if that's not enough just peek around the corner and help yourself to a nice cup of Java.

At the grand opening we were able to enjoy a few moments with the owners, Charlie and Audrey, who are simply amazing people.  In discussion with staff we've learned how many of them have been in the car business for dozens of years and left their prior job at other dealerships just to enjoy the leadership that the Alfanos have opened.  Stories about barbecues where Charlie is flipping burgers up on the roof and serving lunch to the new staff and stories about moments with the owners alone that help this staff realize how important they are to the success of the massive undertaking.

One thing we haven't seen a lot of mention about regarding the dealership, their leadership and the people that make this work is the very important topic that this leadership team is not new to the business.  In fact, they've been in the car business a very long time with two dealerships in California so the choice they made to bring their expertise to Gilbert, AZ is one that can be enjoyed by all who are near.  In one of my many visits to the store there were discussions about entire families driving from San Diego to Gilbert to trade-in two cars and drive away in three.  I can certainly understand why a family would go to those lengths simply to do business with this group of individuals.

Be sure to drop in and tell 'em "Charlie sent ya" as they are presenting in the very well thought out commercials they broadcast on TV and the internet.

You can rest assured that RyanTech Cloud Services will be at the ready to serve this fabulous group of people and continue to move them forward in their vision to provide a second to none experience of surprise and delight in their sales, service and follow up campaigns for us all to enjoy.

WIT - What you may not know about this phrase...

Wit is defined as a form of intelligent humor of course, however, the WIT I'm referring to is not that simple.  It's an acronym that our partner Microsoft uses alongside many other other organizations and partners throughout the industry.  This blog is all about how these "WIT" people have enabled RyanTech. W OMEN I N T ECHNOLOGY At RyanTech we've worked very hard to create an image of credibility, investment and second to none support for our customers.  Over the years we've invested time in organizations such as EO ( The Entrepreneur's Organization ), IAMCP ( The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners ) as well as the MCC ( Microsoft Community Connections ) and participated in the Partner Engagement Board for Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference.  All of these engagements have brought value to Me as the CEO and the company as a whole however what's most important about these engagements is that it's taught me to h...

Microsoft Partnering with Dominion for DMX system

When the rumors became reality this morning about Dominion releasing a DMS at NADA this year I was delighted!  I had multiple people email me, call me, tweet and even text me asking if we knew about the "BIG NEWS!" and they all asked how I feel about it. And then I read Ralph Paglia's post.  What an absolute pollution of the industry some posts have become and this one in my humble opinion tops the list as the most poorly written blog post in history.  If you're going to get all emotional and sprinkle the internet with your bathroom opinions, do it there.  Why would I say something this bold?  Allow me a moment to explain the reality of what is going on instead of the garbage you might read elsewhere. Microsoft doesn't build DMS systems, they empower their partners who have earned Microsoft's respect.  The relationship between Microsoft and Dominion is simple, Dominion is a member of the Microsoft Partner Network.  This means that Do...

When Partners Partner

* When Partners Partner, great things happen.                Such is the case for RyanTech and eLeaderTech. Microsoft Partner eLeaderTech, located in Salt Lake City, UT had been developing a product called Executing the Standards, a.k.a. "ETS",  for over 3 years.  In their attempt to build out the software in the .Net framework as well as many other third party objects, the system began to take a road of its own in the sense that the software almost seemed to have a mind of it's own.  Due to the many different programmers and companies involved in the buildout over the years, the code had become unmanageable and the software suffered a potential self destruction. Enter RyanTech, another Microsoft Partner that had been providing ETS with Data Services through its API for a product called DMSi.  The relationship between the Founder of eLeaderTech, David Ibarra, and RyanTech's Founder, Kevin McMillen started to bl...
